First/Family Plan Plus plans benefit changes 1.05.2010
On 1st May 2010 VHI's First Plan Plus Level 1 and 2 and Family Plan Plus Level 1 and 2 will have increased cover for the Hermitage Clinic. Cover will increase from 75% to 90% for hi-tech cardiac Fixed Price Procedures (FPP) and from 0% to 90% for non-cardiac FPP.
This benefit change will apply to all new and renewing customers from 1st May.

Aviva launch Level 2 Access Plan 01.05.2010
Aviva Health will launch a new plan, Access Plan Level 2 (€799), on 1st May 2010. This plan will provide full cover for a private room in a public hospital and full cover for a semi-private room in a private hospital. Day case procedures in a private hospital will carry a €75 excess. Maternity benefits provide cover for private hospitals charges up to €4000. Out-patient benefits are limited.

One Plan and One Plus Plan Rates changes 02.05.2010
On 2nd May 2010 VHI's One Plan will increase its adult and child rates from €639 to €710 for an adult and €319.50 to €355 for a child.
One Plus Plan will increase its adult rates from €648 to €720 and decrease its rates from €190 to zero for all children on a policy.
These price changes will apply to all new and renewing customers from 2nd May 2010.

We Level 2 Excess premium change 02.05.2010
On 2nd May 2010 Aviva will increase the child prices on We Plan Level 2 Excess to the levels they were prior to the 31st March 2010 price reduction. They will increase as follows:
Child 1: €175 to €320.40
Child 2: €175 to €261.40
Child 3: €175 to €261.40
Child 4: no change
This premium change will apply to all new and renewing customers from 2nd May.

Aviva Health are increasing premiums on 19th May 2010. Prices are increasing by an average of 5% across adult premiums. The price increase will apply to all new and renewing customers on 19th May.

Vhi are increasing premiums on Company Plan Plus Level 1.1. on the 22nd May 2010 for all new and renewing customers. Prices will increase by 7% as follows:
Adult: €722 to €775
Child 1-3: €256 to €275
Student: €256 to €275

Quinn Healthcare launch CompleteCare Plan 01.06.2010
Quinn Healthcare will launch a new plan, CompleteCare (€1,150), on 1st June 2010. This plan will provide full cover for a private room in a public hospital and cover for a semi-private and private room in a private hospital with an in-patient excess of €50/€125.
