Vhi will finish their special offer on One Plan from 1 November 2010. Prices will return to €710 for adults, €355 for children (1-3) and €250 for students.
These prices will apply to all new and renewing customers from 1 November 2010.
On 1 November Vhi will launch a new plan, One Plan 1.10 (€733.33). This plan gives cover for a private room in a public hospital and a semi-private room in a private hospital with a €125 private hospital excess. There is reduced cover for certain orthopaedic procedures in private hospitals. Please ask Vhi for details. There is a maternity accommodation grant of up to €4000 and the out-patient excess is €250 per member per year.

Aviva Health will add a benefit for Oncotype DX scans to all plans from 30 November 2010. Oncotype DX is a genomic testing for HER positive node negative breast cancer to indicate the recurrence score for breast cancer returning in a 10 year time period.
