Quinn Healthcare special offers on Essential Health and Essential Starter will end today 1 December 2010.
Essential Health prices will return to normal prices of €730 for adults, €180 for the first and second child/student and €150 for the third and fourth child/student.
The offer of free children and students on Essential Starter will end also, with prices returning to €170 for the first and second child/student and €125 for the third and fourth child/student.
Vhi will reduce Company Plan rates from 1 December 2010. Adult rates will be reduced from €668 per person to €665.55 per person. Child and student rates will remain the same.
Prices will apply to all new and renewing customers from 1 December 2010.
On 1 December 2010 Vhi will launch two new plans; Well Plus 2 and Well Plus 3.
WellPlus 2 (€805) offers cover for a private room in a public hospital and a semi-private room in a private hospital with a €75 excess per private hospital claim. There is a maternity hospital accommodation grant of €3,400 for three nights and significant day to day benefits with a €50 out-patient excess per person.

Vhi will offer free child cover for all new and renewing customers of One Plus Plan from 15 December 2010.
Quinn Healthcare will reduce adult premiums from €730 to €728.64 on 16 December 2010. This price will apply to all new and renewing customers.
Quinn Healthcare will offer free child and student cover on their Essential Starter plan on 16 December 2010. This offer will apply to all new and renewing customers from this date.
On 22 December Vhi will reduce the premium of One Plan as follows:
Adult rates will be reduced from €710 to €660.
Child rates 1-3 will be reduced from €355 to €330.
These rates will apply to all new and renewing customers from 22 December 2010.
Aviva will be offering free child cover on their Level 1 plan from 24 December 2010. This is a saving of €190 for each of the first three children and a saving of €44 for the fourth and subsequent child.
These prices apply to all new and renewing customers.
Aviva will increase the premiums on the following plans by 10%:

Level 2 Everyday Nurses (€1,023)

This plan gives cover for a private room in a public hospital and a semi-private room in a private hospital with a €125 excess per private hospital claim. There is a maternity accommodation grant of €3,450. Out-patient benefits carry a €150 individual excess or a €250 family excess. There is also an employee assistance program.
