Vhi Healthcare will release a new plan PMI 32 12 on 1 October 2012.
PMI 32 12 (€1,033.34) will offer full cover for a private room in a public hospital and full cover for a semi-private room in a private hospital with a private hospital inpatient excess of €75 per claim. There is 80% cover for certain orthopaedic and ophthalmic procedures in private hospitals. Vhi Healthcare will extend their offer of 50% child (1-3) premiums on their One Plan Choice plan to 1 October inclusive. On 2 October child (1-3) premiums will be €228 per child (1-3) and student premiums will increase to €331 per student. Adult premiums will remain the same (€888 per adult).
These prices apply to all new and renewing customers at these dates.

Vhi Healthcare will increase the student rate on Company Plan Plus Level 1.1 on 8 October 2012 from €375.50 to €390.50 per student.
Vhi will also add their Homecare benefit to this plan, which provides for care in the home by a qualified doctor or nurse, for certain procedures and upon referral only. Please ask Vhi for details.

Essential Select adult premiums will increase from €715.58 to €779 per adult. Child/student premiums will not change for the first and second children/students, however third/fourth+ children/students will increase from €180.97 to €197 per child/student.
