From 1 July Aviva will change premiums across a number of its plans. Aviva will reduce child rates on Family Focus and Hospital Focus, Health Plan 16.1, Be Fit 2 and Be Fit 2.1.
Aviva will also amend rates on the following plans: Aviva Select Starter, Aviva Select, Aviva Select with Day 2 Day Pack, Aviva Select with Emergency Access Pack and Aviva Select with Day 2 Day & Emergency Packs.

The market returned to a recovery phase during 2015 with an increase in the total number of lives insured to 2.12 million or 46% of the population, an increase of 97,000 on 2014

Following approval from the Minister, the Health Insurance Authority Annual Report & Accounts 2015 has been laid before the Houses of the Oireachtas, as provided for under Section 33(2) of the Health Insurance Act 1994 and in accordance with Section 13 of the Code of Practice for the Governance of State Bodies.
