Laya Healthcare Benefit & Price Amendment 01.05.23

Laya will carry out a price and benefit adjustment to the Connect Simplicity plan from 1st May 2023. Benefit changes include:

• 20% shortfall will apply for specified Orthopaedic and Ophthalmic Procedures in Private and Hi Tech Hospitals
• An excess of €100 per claim will apply for Non Hospital Surgical Centres
• Benefit will be added for the Midwife Support Line
• Benefit will be added for a Childhood Development Assessment
• First Steps Fertility will now be available on a per year basis
• Fertility Preservation will now include Embry Freezing
• Benefit will be added for Fertility Counselling and Support
• Benefit will be added for Pre-Implantation Genetic Testing
• A limit on the number of visits will no longer apply for Speech & Language Therapy or Occupational Therapy
• Benefit will be added for Vasectomy
• Benefit will be added for IUS - Device, and IUS - Procedure
• Benefit will be added for the Menopause Support Package
