Laya Healthcare price and benefit changes – 1 August 2025

Price changes

On 1 August 2025, Laya Healthcare will change the price of the following plan;

• Core Connect (€1741. 25 decreases from to €1656.69)

New Plan

On 1 August 2025, Laya will launch a new plan:

• Inspire Assist (€1045 per adult per year)

Benefit changes

On 1 August 2025, Laya Healthcare will make the following benefit changes;

Core Connect

1. Inpatient Excess will now be €125 per claim in private hospitals and Beacon Hospital.
2. Inpatient Excess will now be €175 per claim in hi-tech hospitals.
3. The shortfall per night in Blackrock Clinic and Mater Private Dublin will increase to €500 per night.
4. The following benefits will change to ‘50% up to €35 per visit’:

• GP/Nurse visits
• Orthoptist
• Acupuncture
• Osteopath
• Chiropractor
• Physical Therapy/Athletic rehabilitation
• Reflexology
• Homeopath
• Dietician

5. The following benefits will change to ‘50% up to €40 per visit – 10 visits per year’:

• Adult Counselling – Psychologists
• Adult Counselling – Counsellors and Therapists

6. Neurodevelopment Assessment benefit will now have a limit of €500 per  lifetime.
7. Physiotherapy will now be ‘50% up to €30 per visit – 12 visits per year’
8. Consultant visits will now be ‘50% up to €125 per visit’
9. The following benefits will change to ‘50% up to €100 per year’:

• Routine Dental
• Optical
