Laya Healthcare price updates and benefit changes 01.12.2019 & 02.12.2019

Laya Healthcare will have price changes across 9 plans effective December 1st and 2nd 2019. For full details of these price changes please see below. 

A new plan will be launched on December 1st called ExcelCare. The following prices will apply:

• It is priced at €2,010 per adult.
• Prices will start at €675 for the first child.
• Young adult rates will start at €894.50.

Laya have also announced a number of benefit changes to the ConnectCare plan.

• A 20% shortfall will now apply to specified orthopaedic and ophthalmic 
  procedures in Private and Hi Tech Hospitals. 
• The Infertility benefit will be removed. 
• The First Steps Fertility benefit will be added, covering €2,500 payable twice per 
  lifetime for tests and treatment.
• Sports Screening will be added. 
• The first GP visit will be paid at 100%. 
• The first Consultant visit will be paid at 100%. The first Physiotherapy visit will be paid at 100%.
