New plan announcement 01.05.23
VHI have launched two new plans starting 01.05.23. The plans are as follows
AdvancedCare: Adult rate €2,109 Child rate €407.98. Young adult rates apply
AdvancedCare Day to Day; Adult rate €2,230. Child rate €434.60. Young adult rates apply

VHI will have price amendments on 6 plans 01.05.23. Full details will be in the excel spreadsheet below
Benefit changes 01.05.23
VHI will have benefit changes across 11 plans effective from 01.05.23. Examples of benefit changes include the following
- Amendments in excesses and shortfalls per night for the Blackrock clinic and Mater Private
- Amendments in the excess for Day care and Sideroom accommodation in Private 1 & 2 facilities
- Addition of Hearing Aid benefit
- Convalescent care increase
- Home birth benefit decrease
- Addition of Medical Tattooing
Non-material wording updates:
VHI are updating the Table of Benefits for a number of plans to remove the wording 'Female members only' currently held against treatments - IUI and IVF or ICSI.
VHI are updating the Table of benefits for a number of plans to remove the wording '10 nutritional dinners delivered to your door' currently held against the New Parent Food Pack benefit
