Vhi Healthcare have annouced two plans 'PMI 19 11' and 'PMI 38 14' will increase in price as of 1st September 2020.
- PMI 19 11 will increase from €1254.22 to €1283.30 per adult and from €358.62 per child to €365.80. Young adult rates will also increase on the plan.
- PMI 38 14 will increase from €1679.12 to €1716.70 per adult and from €536.35 per child to €549.08. Young adult rates will also increase on the plan.

The following benefit changes will also apply:
PMI 19 11
- The Vhi VisionCare benefit has been removed from the plan
- Eye test benefit has been amended to €30 in each 24 month period
- The Optical wearables benefit is now 75% of charges in each 24 month period up to €100
- The Manual Lymph Drainage benefit has been updated, removing the requirement of cancer treatment to avail of the benefit
PMI 38 14
- The Manual Lymph Drainage benefit has been updated, removing the requirement of cancer treatment to avail of the benefit
- The Vhi SwiftCare MIU benefit has been removed from the plan
- The daily hospital excess for private accommodation has been removed from the plan
- The benefit for day-care, side room, semi-private & private accommodation has been reduced from 80% to 60% in private 1, 2 & 3 hospitals
- The benefit for day-care & side room has been reduced from 80% to 60% in private 4 hospitals
- The Fertility package has been enhanced as follows
- The Merrion Fertility Clinic is now an approved direct pay provider
- The initial consultation & fertility tests benefits are €150 each
- IUI benefit is increased to 50% up to €2,000 per treatment, up to 2 treatments per lifetime, female members only
- IVF / ICSI benefit is increased to 50% up to €2,000 per treatment, up to 2 treatments per lifetime, female members only
- Fertility counselling has been increased to 5 visits x €50
- Benefit for vaccinations for Meningitis B and Chicken Pox included on the plan
- The Vhi VisionCare benefit has been removed from the plan
- Benefits for Emergency Treatment Abroad & Elective Treatment Abroad have been increased to €125,000
- The pre & post-natal care benefit has been increased to €750
- The Clinical Pyschologist benefit has been increased to 12 visits x €100
- A prescription benefit has been included on the plan
- A flu vaccination benefit has been included on the plan
- A Child Developmental Assessment benefit has been included on the plan providing a benefit of €250 per lifetime
- The eye test benefit has been amended to full cover in each 24 month period
- The Optical wearables benefit is now 75% of charges in each 24 month period up to €200
- The Male & Female Health Screening benefit has been amended to allow cover when provided in Centric Health
- The pay & claim back Merrion Fertility Clinic benefits in section 9 of the Table of Benefits have been removed from the plan
All changes will apply to new and renewing customers from 1st September 2020.
