Vhi Healthcare price increase and benefit changes 22.08.2020

Vhi Healthcare have announced one plan 'PMI 18 11' will have a price increase as of 22.08.2021. 

PMI 18 11 will increase from €1315.07 per adult to €1345.37. Child rates will increase from €321.37 per child to €327.79. Young Adult rates will also increase on the plan. 

The following benefit changes will apply to 'PMI 18 11' as of the 22nd of August 2021: 

• A Gender Reassignment supports benefit was included on the plan providing a benefit of 75% up to €3,000 per lifetime.
• The 'Clinical Psychologist' definition was amended on 1st July making the benefit more accessible for members. The new definition covers a ‘Psychologist’ who is a chartered member of the Psychological Society of Ireland for at least one of following disciplines - clinical, counselling, educational or psychotherapy. The term ‘Clinical’ has been removed from the Table of Benefits & the monetary benefits have not changed.
• The plan now provides full cover for Radiotherapy & Chemotherapy treatment in Private 4 hospitals.

All above changes will apply to new and renewing customers as of 22.08.2021.
