Vhi Healthcare price and benefit changes - 1 January 2024

Price changes

On 31 December 2023 and 1 January 2024, Vhi will change the price of the following plans:

• PMI 29 12 (increase from €1,307.89 to €1,443.60)
• PMI 39 14 (increase from €1,423.66 to €1,453.70)
• PMI 05 11 (increase from €1,882.23 to €2,069.63)
• PMI 43 16 (increase from €1,431.33 to €1,455.80)
• PMI 21 11 (increase from €1,432.74 to €1,563.36)
• PMI 45 10 (increase from €1,384.12 to €1,463.33)
• PMI 46 10 (increase from €1,484.18 to €1,568.39)
• PMI 47 10 (increase from €1,817.18 to €1,918.04)
• PMI 17 10 (increase from €1,692.86 to €1,787.50)
• PMI 24 10 (increase from €1,736.57 to €1,814.03)
• PMI 50 10 (increase from €1,516.23 to €1,675.84)
• PMI 59 10 (increase from €1,407.09 to €1,503.52)

New plan

On 1 January 2024, Vhi will launch a new plan called PMI 66 10. The cost of this plan is €1,397.64 per adult per year. You will be able to compare this plan using our free comparison tool from 1 January.

• Inclusion of vaccination benefit for Meningitis B and Chicken Pox - €50 per inoculation up to two inoculations per vaccination per lifetime
• Inclusion of vasectomy benefit - 50% cover up to €250 per lifetime
• Inclusion of IUS hormonal coil benefit - 50% cover up to €300 per lifetime
• Inclusion of prescription benefit - €20 per visit up to two visits per renewal year
• Increase to dental practitioner benefit – Now €35 per visit up to 10 visits per renewal year

PMI 45 10

• Inclusion of vaccination benefit for Meningitis B and Chicken Pox - €60 per inoculation up to two inoculations per vaccination per lifetime
• Inclusion of vasectomy benefit - 50% cover up to €250 per lifetime
• Removal of Physio Check programme – Includes removal of full body screening benefit and follow up physiotherapist visits
