Laya have launched a new plan Signify Care, starting the 01.04.23. Plan details are below
Price amendments 01.04.23
Laya will have a number of price amendments from the 01.04.23. Full details in the excel spreadsheet below
Benefit changes 01.04.23
Laya will have benefit changes across a number of plans effective from 01.04.23. This will include the following
20 schemes will have the benefit removed for ‘Infertility Initial Consultation’
20 schemes will have the benefit removed for ‘Infertility Testing/Screening’
55 schemes will have the benefit removed for ‘Infertility benefit’
55 schemes will have benefit added for ‘First Steps Fertility’
16 schemes that had benefit for ‘Fertility Preservation’ will have benefit expansion to allow Embryo Freezing. A new benefit will be available on 16 schemes for ‘Pre Implantation Genetic Testing
A new benefit line will be listed to show benefit and excess payable if applicable for ‘Non Hospital Surgical Centres’
The ‘Hearing Test’ benefit will be renamed ‘Hearing Benefit’ and 19 schemes will have benefit adjustments
14 schemes will have the limits removed for the number of visits allowable for Occupational Therapy and Speech & Language Therapy
The Gender Affirmation Support benefit will be available on 6 more schemes
The following changes will be made to plans Everyday Health, Everyday Health Plus & Assure Vitality:
The outpatient excess will change to €1
3 GP visits per year will be added at €20 per visit
3 Routine Dental visits per year will be added at €20 per visit
3 Physiotherapy visits per year will be added at €20 per visit
The following changes will be made to Signify and Signify Plus:
Child Counselling will be added - €30 per visit, 8 visits per year
Parent Accompanying a Child will be added - €100 per day, 14 days
The outpatient excess will change to €1
3 GP visits per year will be added at €25 per visit
2 Routine Dental visits per year will be added at €30 per visit
€25 per visit for 3 visits per year will be added for all the following: Physiotherapy, Physical Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Adult Counselling – Psychologists & Adult
Counselling Counsellors and Therapists.
A literature update will align services and supports that were available to members through the COVID member supports which offered unrestricted access to several services

Health Protect will no longer be available. This product was providing cover for the public levy charge only. This charge will no longer be applicable
