New plan announcement 28.02.23

VHI have launched two new plans starting 28.02.23. The plans are as follows

ProvidentCare Plus: Adult rate €2955.72. Child rate €738.19. Young adult rates apply

ProvidentCare; Adult rate €1499.60. Child rate €367.12. Young adult rates apply

VHI will have a number of price updates on 01.03.23. Full details will be in the excel spreadsheet below

Benefit changes 01.03.23

VHI will have benefit changes across a number of plans effective from 01.03.23. This will include the following 

- Dexa scan benefit changes -A  limit on Dexa scans of ‘one scan per renewal year’ across 4 plans

- Outpatient Section Maximum is no longer to applicable to the following benefits:

Consultant Consultations & Radiology & Pathology professional benefit and technical fees across 49 plans

- The Day to Day Section Maximum has been removed from 6 plans

- The Consultant & Diagnostics benefits Section Maximum has been removed from 10 plans

- The visit limit for Consultant Consultations has been removed from 3 plans

- The Psychologist / Counsellor / Psychotherapist benefit is no longer subject to the annual Section Maximum on 5 plans

The benefit for Convalescent Care has been updated from - first 14 nights towards the cost of semi-private or private room accommodation €30 per night to €75 per night on the following plan: Company Plan Extra Level 2

Benefit changes 02.03.23

VHI will have benefit changes across a number of plans effective from 02.03.23. This will include the following 

- Removal of the annual Section Maximum from the following benefits: Consultant Consultations & Radiology & Pathology professional benefit and technical fees across 8 plans

- The visit limit for Consultant Consultations has been removed from the  PMI 39 14. 

All changes apply to new and renewing customers as of 28.02.2023 - 02.03.2023.
