Vhi Healthcare Price Increase and Benefit Changes 01.11.2021

Vhi Healthcare have announced a price increase on one plan 'PMI 32 12' as of 01.11.2021. 

PMI 32 12 will increase from €1460.45 to €1485.36 per adult and from €420.62 per child to €428.43. Young Adult rates will also increase on the plan.

Vhi Healthcare have also announced the following benefit changes as of 01.11.2021:

PMI 32 12 

• The Lifestage Screening benefit has been removed from the plan
• The Vhi SwiftCare minor injury clinic benefit has been removed from the plan
• The Employee Assistance Programme benefit has been removed from the plan
• A Meditation App benefit has been included on the plan providing a benefit of €30 per renewal. (this benefit was previously allowed to members via the interim rules addendum)
• The Cancer Care Support benefit has been amended to allow for accommodation, travel & parking costs
• Vhi have reformatted the way that cover for Radiotherapy & Chemotherapy treatment is outlined in the Table of Benefits. This however does not result in any material change in benefit for members
• The Additional Cancer Support benefits now include a benefit for a sleeping cap
• A Gender Reassignment supports benefit has been included on the plan providing a benefit of 50% up to €3,000 per lifetime
• A Child Developmental Assessment benefit has been included on the plan providing a benefit of €250 per lifetime
• A Psychotherapy and Counselling benefit has been included on the plan providing a benefit of 7 visits x €25
• A new benefit for the Galway Clinic Emergency Department (minor injuries only) has been added to the plan providing full cover, subject to an excess of €75 per visit

• A Meditation App benefit has been included on the plan providing a benefit of €30 per renewal. (this benefit was previously allowed to members via the interim rules addendum)

• The Additional Cancer Support benefits now include a benefit for a sleeping cap

All changes apply to new and renewing customers as of November 1st 2021.
