Vhi Price Change, New Plans, Retired Plans and Benefit Changes 01.10.21
Vhi Healthcare have announced the following changes from 01.10.21:
Company Plan Executive will decrease in price from €3811.36 to €3474.65 per adult and from €983.07 to €892.15 per child. Young adult rates will also decrease

Benefit Changes:
- A Meditation App benefit is being included on 64 plans, providing a benefit of €30 per renewal. This benefit was previously allowed to members via the interim rules addendum in response to Covid. We are now including it on the Table of Benefits and the benefit is available immediately to all members, i.e. they don’t have to wait until their next renewal date.
- The Cancer Care Support benefit is being amended on 62 plans to allow for accommodation, travel & parking costs. This amendment can be availed of immediately by members on the applicable plans, i.e. they don’t have to wait until their next renewal date.
- The Additional Cancer Support benefits on 57 plans now include a benefit for a Sleeping Cap. This benefit inclusion can be availed of immediately by members on the applicable plans, i.e. they don’t have to wait until their next renewal date.

A Psychotherapy and Counselling benefit is being included on the plan providing a benefit of 7 visits x €40

A Post-Natal Home Nursing benefit is being included on the plan
A benefit for Onco type DX profiling is being included on the plan providing full cover
The Cancer Care Support benefit is being amended to allow for accommodation, travel & parking costs
A Medical Tattooing benefit is being included on the plan providing a benefit of up to €100 per year
The Vhi HealthCheck@Home benefit is being included on the plan, providing full cover subject to an excess of €50
A STI Screening benefit is being included on the plan providing a benefit of up to €50 per year
The Vhi Paediatric Clinic benefit is being amended to 100% cover, subject to an excess of €50
The Foetal Screening benefit benefit is being amended to provide a benefit of €100
The Pre- and Post-Natal Care benefit is being amended to provide a benefit of €500
AdvancedCare Extra Day to Day
Semi-private accommodation in the Mater Private Hospital Dublin & The Blackrock Clinic is being increased to 90% cover
A Post-Natal Home Nursing benefit is being included on the plan

All changes will apply to new and renewing customers from 1st of October 2021.
